    Bridlington Beaches

Click here to return to our 'Things to do' section.

Bridlington can boast of two superb award winning Blue Flag beaches. One North side of the Harbour called Northside beach and the other is the southern side of the bridlington harbour called the southside beach. The Northside beach is a sandy and shingle beach stretching from the noth side of the Harbour along by the stunning cliff tops right up to Flamborough head. From the harbour there is the Bayside fun park running along side the beach and then a very wide pedestrian promenade providing a lovely walk which then leads on to the grassy cliff tops going all the way to

Sewerby and then up to Flamborough Head. You can catch the land train from Sewerby park all the way back along the cliff tops and promenade right up to the leisure world by the fun park and vise versa which is just as enjoyable as walking.
To the South of the Harbour we have Bridlington southside beach. This is a sandy beach and is great for all the usual beach games and activities such as walking, sunbathing, swimming, paddling, building sand castles or just relaxing. This beach runs from the harbour right up to spurn point at the mouth of the river Humber and from the harbour

you have Bridlington Spa Theater, a smaller fun park and then again a wide pedestrian promenade with paddling pool, cafe, toilets, chalets running along side. Past this is Fraisethorpe beach which offers many sporting activities such as wind surfing and kite surfing etc.
